Rural New Build – Air Source Heat Pump Solution

This rural new-build property was constructed to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, with the inclusion of an air source heat pump playing a key role in achieving the required standards.

Global Energy Systems provided a solution to deliver both heating and domestic hot water, utilising underfloor heating throughout the property. This allows the system to operate at low flow temperatures, maximising efficiency and delivering some of the lowest possible running costs.

Once occupied, the property is predicted to achieve annual running costs of approximately £1,680, representing a potential saving of over £1,300 compared to oil heating.

The developer commented: “Being able to offer customers such low heating bills compared to the cost of oil is a real bonus.”
