Farmhouse Renovation – Off-Grid Heating Solution

During the renovation of a traditional farm building into a residential property in an off-grid location, the owner sought an efficient and sustainable alternative to oil heating.

Global Energy Systems supplied and installed an 18kW Caernarfon air source heat pump, providing full heating and domestic hot water for the property.

The system delivers reliable, low-carbon performance and is expected to achieve annual savings of £1,881 compared to oil. This figure includes income from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), for which the installation is accredited.

This project highlights how air source heat pumps can offer a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for off-grid rural properties.
