Global Energy Systems Installation Services Energy Experts will help you get the right air source heat pump for you home by understanding your energy use, how many people live in your home and the size of the property.
The £7,500 grant is available with the Government’s Boiler Upgrade Schemes. Visit the Government website for eligibility criteria and exclusions. The Government’s Boiler Upgrade Scheme is valid for heat pumps that are commissioned from 1 April 2022.
To be eligible for the grant, a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) from the last 10 years is required. Unfortunately now build homes are ineligible for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. Owner and property eligibility apply. To see the full eligibility criteria and exclusions, visit the Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme Website.
This price include VAT, and based on the Boiler Upgrade Scheme £7,500 grant being taken off the full price. Prices will vary by property. a survey is required to provide a tailored quote and geographical restrictions apply.
£400 discount offer applies to GES customers only.
Our many years experience installing and optimising heat pumps gives you the confidence to know that you are in safe hands.
We do bespoke and complex installs - so you can be confident that our experts will design the most efficient system for your home. Our renewable energy product installations are backed by HIES (The Home Insulation and Energy Systems Quality Assured Contractors Scheme) NICEIC, HEIS, MCS, Gas Safe.
We will set up your heat pump to suit your home's heating and hot water needs. Heat pumps work like an air conditioner, but they take heat from the air outside and use it to heat your home rather than cool it. This ensures that your home is kept nice and warm.
You have full control of your home heating through the thermostat controls or through an app via your chosen thermostat.
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the air and transfer this heat to your home. Heat pumps work like a refrigerator but in reverse. They contain a special refrigerant that absorbs heat from the air outside and becomes a vapour at very low temperatures. This is then pumped into a heat exchanger in your heat pump where it condenses to become a liquid and releases the heat absorbed from the outside. Then transferred as heat thru a plate heat exchanger into your heating water to your home.
For every kWh of electricity used to power the heat pump - 3 to 4 kWh of heat are transferred to your home. For this reason alone fewer greenhouse gases are generated when you switch to an ASHP. This is even better if you swap from heating your home using a fossil fuel like natural gas or oil to an electricity tariff that only uses renewable generation.
Heating contributes significantly to alarming levels of carbon emissions. By embracing this technology, every home has the potential to do their part in reducing pollution and creating a more sustainable future.
Our air source heat pumps are ideal to connect to most Radiators and underfloor heating systems. Some of the electricity used to operate by your heat pump can be offset by the sustainable electricity generated by your solar panels if installed.
Considering installing solar panels along with an air source heat pump? Please get in touch for more information.
Heat pumps are more efficient than other heating systems and generally produce around three times more energy than they take in – 300% efficient.
However - to ensure your heat pump performs at peak efficiency it needs to be optimised for changes in seasonal temperatures.
And that’s why we not only include ALL your radiator upgrades in your installation, and advise about your insulation, but also provide you with a 2 year monitoring package. Free of charge our engineers will check and adjust your system over time, to make sure it’s working to it’s full potential - so your home is always cosy and warm.
An air source heat pump can give you up to 4 times more heat for each unit of energy used to power it. If you’re currently using electric storage heaters, oil, gas, LPG boilers, or coal to heat your home, you could be saving money and (potentially) space by switching to an air source heat pump.
We’ve listed some potential annual savings of installing a standard air source heat pump in a three-bedroom semi-detached home, calculated over one year:

Heat pumps can help you cut your energy bills as their running costs could be lower than your current heating system.
Our quotes include the initial design survey and all required elements for a standard installation and labour.
Contact us and one of our heating experts will answer any questions you might have.
We’ll talk you through the basics so we can understand if an Air Source Heat Pump is the right solution for your home.
If you decide to go ahead and get a quote, we’ll book you in for an in-home survey of your home’s heating needs.
At the survey we’ll work with you to decide: where the heat pump will be located, where to install your hot water cylinder, and if any new radiators are needed (and where the pipe work will be run if required). We can then give you a fixed price quote.
Once you have accepted your quote we’ll agree an installation date with you. Your air source heat pump installation will typically take three to four days.
We’ll keep you informed of what we are doing and try to keep any disruption to a minimum.
After the install we’ll deal with all the paperwork including registering your guarantees.
For the 3 years of the operation of your new system, we’ll log on remotely to check it is operating as expected.
If during our remote reviews we find any issues, we’ll contact you to try to resolve them.
We’ll also be on hand to answer any questions you have about the operation of your heat pump at any time.
Heat pumps are sized by carrying out a “heat loss” survey of your home. Hot water cylinders allow 45l of capacity for each person living in the property.
The rooms in your home are measured and the heat loss of your walls, roof space and floors assessed. We’ll agree where the heat pump & hot water cylinder will be installed.
Solar panels will offset the electricity used to heat your home.
Yes, air source heat pumps heat water in a hot water cylinder where it’s stored until you need it. The cylinder is insulated so once the water is heated it’ll stay hot for hours, waiting for you to use it for washing up or filling up the bath.
As part of the system design we’ll look at your hot water needs and ensure the cylinder is the right size so there’s always enough hot water for your home. Typically hot water is heated to 55°C, which is warm enough for piping hot showers and baths.
You’ll need to service your heat pump annually using Global Energy Systems.
Global Energy Systems have developed a remote link which connects each Air Source Heat Pump system to our Head Office. Customers have the ability to log on to their systems and see their running costs, as well as making any changes to their heating and hot water requirements. This unique system allows the homeowner the ability to log on with a computer or mobile phone whilst away from your home.
Global Energy’s fully programmable, efficient and advanced controller offers intelligent temperature control of your system whatever the season. This unique remote monitoring service gives you total peace of mind that your system is being monitored by our dedicated services team.
Yes, and we’ll set up the system to suit your needs.
Heat pumps work best if they are left on at a low but comfortable setting all day. The system will heat up in the morning so your home is nice and warm when you get up, and heat up again in the evening for your return home. If you want it warmer during the day you can turn it up yourself on the heating controls.
